What is PP Material?



Everyone may often hear about plastic products made of PP material, but for most people, PP material is still relatively unfamiliar. In fact, PP material is polypropylene. Polypropylene is a milky white, highly crystalline polymer that is non-toxic, odorless, and tasteless, with a density of only 0.90–0.91 g/cm³, making it one of the lightest varieties among all plastics. It is particularly stable in water, with a water absorption rate of only 0.01%, and a molecular weight of about 80,000–150,000. It has good moldability. 1. What Material Is PP?


PP is an important member of the polyolefin family and is a polymer material formed through the polymerization of propylene monomers.
