The HEY04A Cup Lid Thermoforming Machine automates the entire plastic lid production process: heating, forming, precise punching (e.g., for straws), and cutting. Designed for efficiency (15-35 lids/min), it handles PET, PS, or PVC sheets up to 500mm wide, producing high-quality, consistently sealed lids, trays, and containers while reducing labor costs and contamination risks.
HEY04A How the Cup Lids Making Machine Works ?
Plastci lids making machine adopts automatic forming, punching and cutting as the special properties of product requires of the users.
The raw material coil is loaded onto the device. Then, the feeder advances the material into the cup lid forming machine, where it first enters the heating station, where it is heated to the appropriate temperature based on preset temperature, heating time, and other parameters/settings.
The material heated to the right temperature is formed on top of the mould to produce the same shape as the mould, and then hardened through cooling.
After hardening, the lid enters the punching station. Based on preset position, diameter, and shape parameters, the Cup Lid Forming Machine uses a punch and die to accurately pierce holes (e.g., for straws or vents) in the cup lid.
The plastic lid enters the cutting station, where the Plastic lid making machine cuts it to the final shape according to the set parameters, producing the finished cup lid.
